Muslim women visit Royal School of Needlework
Traditions of embroidery and needlework are central to the lives of many women. As part of our Stitch project, we worked with groups of Muslim women and the Royal School of Needlework to create embroidery packs exploring shared traditions. This was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Click on the photos and captions for a gallery of women from the Katherine Low Settlement, Battersea, visiting the Royal School of Needlework.
