Photo gallery of embroidery in Wandsworth

Our embroidery workshops in Hammersmith – led by Katrina Williams – are the latest stage in Stitch, our work with needlework and stitching to connect people with different cultures and experiences. This gallery by photographer Olivia Arthur documented embroidery brought by Bangladeshi women (and one man!) to a workshop in Tooting.  This wonderful embroidery was the starting point of Stitch and later featured in a V&A publication, British Asian Style.
