It was great to visit Helston Museum as Heart of Conflict, our project in west Cornwall marking the centenary of World War One. Assistant curator Tracey Clowes opened the museum especially last evening for a group of boys (and one girl) from Redruth Boys’ Brigade.  (We visited this group at one of their meetings in Redruth last April.) Thanks to Tracey, and Mike Semmens who drove the minibus over, the group had a chance to chat to Tracey, learn more about World War One and handle some of the Museum’s collection.  To find out more about Heart of Conflict, visit our the project website and keep up to date with developments on our blog.
