Suitcase exhibition at Truro Cathedral
We marked Holocaust Memorial Day 2020 at Truro Cathedral, Cornwall by putting parts of our suitcase exhibition on display for the first time for some years. It’s still as relevant as on the day we first started work…. The Guardian featured it a decade ago now…. click here.
This exhibition is called I PACKED THIS MYSELF. The project – to increase understanding and break down prejudice against workers from overseas in Cornwall – is currently funded by Cornwall Council through Inclusion Cornwall and we’re working in partnership with the Diocese of Truro. We were very grateful to Keno Toriello who came along to help. Keno is originally from Chile and now working in Penzance. Cornwall Council made a short video about the day – click here.
